Important Dates to Remmember:
-Saturday December 1st:ย We will be helping the Auxiliary put up Christmas Trees at the Atlanta VA Hospital between 9am and 12 noon. Volunteers are need.
-Monday, December 3rd, We will be setting up and decorating Christmas Trees for the Post at 6pm.ย Volunteers are needed.
– December 5th: Dinner at the Post for all Members and families at 5:00PM.(Free)
December 15: Wreaths Across America wreath laying Ceremonyย at GA National Cemetery in Canton.ย Come represent our post.
Deadline for purchasing wreaths is December 3rd. Contact Eldrige Holloway, Jr. Vice at 404-483-3361 if you want to make a donation.
If you want to participate in the wreath laying ceremony at the GA National Cemetary with us please meet at the cemetary at columbarium -(A) no later than 10AM. Also please dress for the weather. Do NOT go to the post meeting that day if you are coming to the ceremony.
-Friday, January 18th 2019 is our Annual Awards Dinner honoring our first Responders, Patriot Pen, Voice of Democracy and Teacher of the Year winners.ย Program starts at 6pm.ย Lets have a great turn out.
–Februaryย 4th 2019, We host the District #1 Meeting. Volunteers needed. We would like to see maximum participation. 10AM arrival time, joint meeting starts at 11 AM.
