Joint Honor Guard Training scheduled at the Post for this Saturday 3 June 17 at 8 AM.

Hello Everyone:

I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful and safe Memorial Day weekend.

Let us not forget the sacrifices made by some of our friends and family members over the years who payed the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms because today is the day we remember them.

This is a reminder about our upcoming training date scheduled for this Saturday morning 3 June 2017 at 8 AM.   

Our Honor Guard practice will start at 8 AM sharp so please be on time.  This segment is primarily to concentrate on familiarization with the use of the M-1 Rifle.  We will also review practice time folding the flags as much as possible.

VFW Post 5408 Acworth

Some of us from Post 5408 have an important meeting to attend at the post which starts at 10 AM, so please be on time so we can make good use of the 2  hour time frame prior to that meeting.

I want to personally thank each of you for the sacrifice and commitment you are making for us to bring this idea to fruition. It is a joint effort between all of us.
